and host Reinhard can point out to you the
Southern Cross. On the Bushland Park grounds, with only 3 minutes after
dinner walk, you’ll experience hundreds of wild living New Zealand
Glowworms in a bush grotto, where the Lodge’s water comes from 5 uphill
springs and services all water taps in the Lodge as well as your drinking
water during daytime and at dinner. On your way to this little bush
waterfall grotto, you might be lucky to see a New Zealand Possum alive at
night and most New Zealand native birds during the day.

The Wentworth River guides the track to the 2x 25 meter falls, uniquely, you can drink the clean river water.

The Lodge's guest entertainment
You can visit the hosts/owners' Glasschef Studio,
where Reinhard & Petra create their dinnerware and glass fused artwork,
or you might decide for a cooking experience with the glasschef in his kitchen, gaining some new cuisine skills or tricks you can impress your good friends at home whilst telling about your New Zealand journey
... or you relax in the Garden-Park's Bathroom and experience true silence.

Culinary delights at Bushland Park Lodge
The owners are originally from the Black Forest area in Germany, but since a few years New Zealand Citizens. They still offer a variety of different European breads, the typical cold cuts and Black Forest smoked Ham, and more of genuine European ingredients.
